Tobacco Plantation in Viñales - We waited outside our “casa”, when we heard the sound of hoofbeats approaching. A young, tall man with a wide smile all over his face, greeted us warmly from his horse-drawn carriage.

He took us straight to the horses that we would ride through the wildly dense and green forest to reach the farm.

Everything seemed so peaceful, calm and wonderfully settled, while we were listening to our guide, introducing us to the “world of tobacco” - a plant that requires a lot of knowledge and care to become a cigar.

By the end of the tour, the sky had begun to turn a deep blood-orange, making the landscape glow with a soft shimmer. We just sat there, enjoying the tasty mojitos and the silence surrounding us.
